Profile
Loyens Winandy was established in early 2003 by Jean-Pierre Winandy, who set up a partnership with the Belgian law firm Loyens Advocaten-Avocats. Dirk Leermakers joined Loyens Winandy as a partner after gaining many years' experience in building up a corporate law practice with leading law firms. The office further consists of a team of eight lawyers, two of whom are senior associates: Françoise Pfeiffer, who has special expertise in banking, finance and corporate law, and Gilles Dusemon who has broad experience in corporate and tax law. They head a team of lawyers specialising in corporate law, investment funds and banking and finance.
Loyens Winandy is committed to offering the highest standard of integrated tax and business law advice. The office mainly services corporate and financial clients and investment funds, and handles all matters relating to corporate and commercial law, real estate, banking and financial law, and tax law. It concentrates on all corporate law aspects of international structures, financial products, holding and financing structures, mergers & acquisitions and corporate reorganisations. As for the tax practice, the office has a strong focus on tax litigation and Luxembourg law opinions.
